Vinyasa

Vinyasa is an approach to yoga in which you move from one pose directly into the next. There's a flow to a Vinyasa yoga session, though the specific poses and the pace of the flow vary from one instructor to the next. You may also hear the term Ashtanga yoga used interchangeably with Vinyasa.

Kundalini

Kundalini yoga is a form of yoga that involves chanting, singing, breathing exercises, and repetitive poses. Its purpose is to activate your Kundalini energy, or shakti. This is a spiritual energy that's said to be located at the base of your spine.

Slow Flow

In a typical Slow Flow class, you will practice about half the number of poses you might practice in a Flow class. The pace is meditative, emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind. We hold poses longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, instead of moving to each breath.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga poses are deep and quiet, but an instructor will help guide you through each session. Yin yoga classes are slow-paced with a focus on internal exploration. usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. Energetically, Yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. Yin yoga also offers wonderful emotional and mental health benefits.

Sound Baths

Sound baths are a meditative practice involving the use of resonant music. This creates an immersive sound that fills the room and the body, aiming to help people relax and let go of stress, anxiety, or other worries and concerns. People report feeling deeply relaxed after sound baths, which may have health benefits.

Yin & Sound

Yin and Sound, 90 minutes total. Yin class of long passive floor holds accompanied with sound throughout, Ending in a very extended Savasana, bathed and healing sound vibrations.

Reiki

Reiki is an ancient technique used for stress reduction and relaxation and has been shown to have several benefits for both physical and mental health. It is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that involves the practitioner gently placing their hands on or near the body.

One-on-One

In a one-on-one session, the yoga teacher can give you personalized feedback on your alignment and make hands-on adjustments to ensure that you are understanding and practicing each pose correctly. This can help you avoid injuries and improve your overall practice. One in one training provides a deeper meditative setting to connect with your inner most self, along with deepening your individual practice.

Two-person Yoga

Two-Person yoga, sometimes called "AcroYoga" or "Partner Yoga", enables two people to use each other's weight, support, balance and resistance to find deeper expression in yoga poses. Partners coordinate together in creative poses that require trust, communication and sensitivity to each other's needs and abilities. This can deepen friendship/ relationship intimacy, while also adding to the pose and body stretches.

Meditation

Meditation, as described in the ancient Vedic texts, is an exercise of consciousness that results in the expansion of consciousness beyond the day-to-day experience of duality. This can include mantra (chanting) mudra(hand placement) mala beads(prayer beads)It is an experience of unity, which reduces stress and brings increased creativity and efficiency to the functioning of the inner faculty.
